Brief Answer:
Is he having any fevers?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed this information fully and this is consistent with a viral infection of the upper respiratory tract: Bronchitis. I think the doctors have gone even a step further to cover up with antibiotics. I am certain the treatment is okay and needs no further attention unless something else comes up. I will say you should continue with the prescribed medications. However, if he has a high fever, if he has serious breathing difficulties or a temperature of more than 100F, then consider getting to the hospital for evaluation again.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
