Question: Hello,

I recently have had a lot of cramping in my lower left abdomen. I also have been passing loose stool more, but not diarrhea. My dr. suggested this could be reproductive and ordered an ultrasound which saw nothing. If I wanted to do an MRI that would cover both pelvic and the colon/ gastro, what one would I need to order?

Brief Answer:
Hi colonoscopy first

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Well loose stools with pain in left lower quadrant needs to be evaluated with stool examination and an colonoscopy to look for any large intestinal swelling.
Need for an endoscopy and an Mri is unlikely at present.
Hope this answers your questions.
Happy to help.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
