I have a pretty intense pressure in my head when lying on my stomach. I've had it before but now itt's more persistent and I can't sleep. I also have the impression my hard is beating a lot stronger than usual (not faster but stronger). It feels like I have very high blood pressure, and I feel slighly dizzy. Should I go to the ER? What can it be?
I'm a 34 year old make with unhealthy eating and sleeping habits. Had a possible TIA by loosing half my eyesight for half an hour about 2 years ago. They did a lot of checkups then but couldn't find anything.
Get your blood pressure checked
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand the brief answer seems incomplete. Let me elaborate it here.
The pretty intense headache when lying on stomach may or may not be due to a serious organic medical problem. The only pathology I can think of at this moment is elevated blood pressure. Therefore if you still persist to have those sensation, it would be worthwhile to visit an urgent care clinic, if not the ER and get your vitals checked.
None of your symptoms indicate a direct neurological cause. Perhaps anxiety about the condition may be worsening the state. Therefore I feel its worthwhile to see a healthcare provider and get this sorted.
In short, nothing alarming as yet. Visit the clinic and allay your fears. I will be pleased to answer follow up questions if any.
