Brief Answer:
you need MRI spine to see severity.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have read your query.
As there is no pain relief after 1 weeks medication you will need to do further investigation like MRI spine.
Due to nerve compression there can be persistent muscle spasm.
you may get relief with methylcobalamine and neurotropic medication like pregabalin consulting your doctor.
Physiotherapy like IFT And TENS may help you.
I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
