Question : I was on this medication for 5 months straight and the muscle pains I was getting, 2-4 times a night IMPROVED 95%. I ran out on one occasion and they were back, at least once a day. Took them again for 1 month, and the pain is unbelievable. Union would not pay for it, but because they actually work, I am willing to pay for them. Please advice. Than you.

Methocarbamol is a central muscles relaxant drug, that is used mainly to treat muscles spasms.

If it works in your case and other drugs don't work, then you should continue to use it.

Since drowsiness is a possible side effect, it is advisable to use Methocarbamol before sleep.

As far as I know it doesn't cost too much, even if you pay for it, but since it's a prescription drug, you should discuss with your primary care Doctor about prescribing it.
