Question : this is just a follow up as we have been chatting back and forth.
now i still under cipro it will in all 6 weeks and they also gave me flomax ( they said the infection leaked inot my prostatis and its inflammed.
i had a cystoscopy done and it showed baldder and prostate all normal. the urologist did a rectal exam and found that righ side is abormal (i think is because of the infection) he said he didnt feel any kinf of tumor on nothing and also he told since i was not feeling pain that noting then ...based on his eperience im too young for prostate issues . he told me that i would be feeling better and better and to keep taking flomax and finish my antibiotics.
to be honset my symptoms are almost gone its just this discomfort in mu buttock when sitting but i do notice that its
improving too.
sorry for the late reply because i was off work dealing with this
plesse let me know your opinions

And one more I am experiencing a shortness of breath..like I can not breath in or get enough air..I went to the clinic the said oxygen level is good and mu lungs are good (no sound when I breath in and out )..it's hard for me to breath..could be anxiety?? Or should I take medication to help me breath?

Brief Answer:
I am happy to hear this!

Detailed Answer:

Hi and thanks for the updates.

I am pleased reading through the information you have provided. This is very encouraging and I must say your response to treatment is okay. What matters most is the fact that you are feeling better with every new day. Instant results as expected by many clients is not always the case. Healing is always progressive. Lack of patience at times pushes clients to accept even further aggressive treatment measures which in most circumstances does not improve the outcome and may rather make the condition worse.

Exercise patience. Appreciate the daily improvements and feel reassured that you would get there with time.

Yes, you are pretty young for any significant prostate related pathology other than an infection now. However, we would be very alert about any symptoms so that we can investigate and address them as soon as they become a concern.

The physical examination of your lungs shows that there is no reason for shortness of breath at this time. The best approach is to stop thinking about it and relax your mind. If this is not done, the thought of it is enough to reproduce symptoms and make you further concerned. as you rightly mentioned, this could be very much related to anxiety.

I am happy you are back to work. I am happy you are improving, though slow but, sure in the right direction. I am optimistic you would soon be completely relieved of all the symptoms related to this condition. Have a relaxed mind, positive attitude and stay optimistic. This would be very helpful!

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to come back with more information as the case maybe.

Brief Answer:
Healing but not complete yet!

Detailed Answer:

Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.

The prostate looks normal to the eye(macroscopically) but does not exclude infections as these are subtle changes that go on at the microscopic level. With 4weeks of antibiotics already, I am certain that a lot has gone into healing and what remains are not the glaring expected abnormalities anymore but, more of a normal looking but still healing prostate gland.

I hope this helps. The healing is unfolding in the right direction. I am happy about this. carry on. And please, make no mistake that there may be some minor pain even after completion of antibiotics that would get away later. Exercise patience, enjoy each positive improvement and you would get there.
