Question : Please may I ask about a skin rash my 5 year old granddaughter has-- It is on the upper aspect of her tight and abdomen. It is itchy and she seems irritated with it. There is a history of diabetes in the family do you think it may be related. Her blood sugar is 6.4. Thanks

Brief Answer: Please provide a photo of her skin rash.... Detailed Answer: Hi, May I have a picture of the skin rash that your granddaughter has? That could help me get a better idea on the rash she is having and provide useful advice. Her blood sugar seems to be fine for her age. Having a family history of diabetes has nothing to do with skin rash she is experiencing. May I also know: - if the rash appeared suddenly or within a few days? - has she passed cold/flu recently followed by rash? - is she having other health problems (or taking any medication) currently?
