Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The symptoms are suggestive of Kleine-Levin Syndrome (KLS).
As other investigations have been done and are normal, KLS should be considered.
The disease is rare and no definite treatment exists.
Lithium can be used for prevention and Modafinil for some response.
Get in contact with a neurologist for treatment guidance.
As the disease is rare, very few doctors or neurology centers may have encountered such a case.
The etiology is not well defined and postulated to be related to some hormonal imbalance involving thalamus and hypothalamus region.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
