What Causes Sleeplessness Post Tubectomy?

Question: my friend she is of age 39 yrs is not having sleep for last 5 to 6 months. and it started after her tubectomy (Laproscopic). she also complains that she is feeling uncomfortable and fear.
can you please suggest which department I should consult or any specific reason or is it symptom of any of the disease. thanks in advance.
