Question : My vomit contains small cylinder shaped snail textured pieces. Vomit everything I eat or drink. I have a lap band. Concerned about strange pieces in vomit. Will be having lap band emptied.

Your obviously have certain obstruction of stomach or duodenum and these pieces are sign that food is not being digested and that vomiting occurs before gastric enzymes start working. You need to do barium xray test and consider surgical procedure. Wish you good health. Regards
