What Causes Small Fluid Filled Blisters On Penis?

default
Posted on Tue, 17 Feb 2015
Question: I have noticed I get some small fluid filled blisters on my penile shafts from wearing tight jeans. Usually if I squeeze them they are sorta painful and they pop and heal fine with some bacitracin. Recently I worked out and when I came home I noticed that I had a these blisters appear. I'm assuming they are caused by friction with my underpants because I know I am std free. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

Brief Answer:
Genital herpes

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir!

Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I understand your concern.Painful blister like appearance is mostly of herpes. Thus virus can be in your body for years without causing any symptom.

Genital herpes is different for each person. The signs and symptoms may recur, off and on, for years.I would suggest you not to break blisters because it is contagious and thus keep recurring.

A blood test or a viral culture can confirm this.Generally there is no premanent cure for this but antiviral medications might help speed en recovery.

Hope this helps.Feel free to ask more.
