Question : Hi i just got the copper IUD on friday and have been experiencing the worst cramps of my life im worried this will only get worse when i have my period which will be while im driving cross country. Also today i noticed a bright pink skin rash covering my whole right thigh. Should i get it removed or wait it out? The inserting process was the most painful thing i have ever experienced jn my life and if i have it removed i can not imagine going through the pain to have it put back in. Also the copper IUD is my only option for bc due to health reasons.

You request for a prescription of antibiotics and pain killers from your doctor and take them for a week. These symptoms including rash will subside by then.

I am also on coumadin & when i drink i experience what seems like my period but is not. Will this be the case every time i drink?
