What Causes Stomach Cramps Along With Diarrhea?

Question: I have had stomach cramps for over a week. Iv'e gone to a doctor and now they have me on a 3 day stool sample. The stomach aches tend to get more intense at night for some reason along with diarrhea. I'll feel better through out the day but after I eat at night my stomach starts flipping upside down. Tonight my diarrhea looked to be foggy. Iv'e never had stomach problems last this long. Is it uncommon for stomach problems to last longer than a weak? I am a super hypochondriac and can't get the thought out of my mind that I may have stomach cancer.

Hi

Since you are having stomach cramps along with diarrhea i would advise you to do a stool culture test.

Stomach problems can last for a week and the symptoms above are not of stomach cancer.

If any infection is found in stool then sensitive antibiotics needs to be started.

For stomach cramps you can take drotaverine tablets with doctors advise.

For diarrhea you can take loperamide tablets with doctors advise.
