Question : Hi DOCTOR,

I am 29 years old male..
I was diagnosed with typhoid 11 days back
I was recommend 10 days taxim 0 200 antibiotic twice in a day
Also I had taken glucose at doctor clinic for 6 days
Now fever is not coming
But sudden shivering and weakness is coming in day time in office
I feel shivered, week little headache and some dizziness in office
Shivering in body is coming and going again and again
please help

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. The treatment with Taxim-O (200) is correct but needs to be continued for 10-14 days even if the fever comes down. What you are observing is the residual effect of the typhoid fever. You would need to be patient. Gradually things would come back to normal.
