Brief Answer:
Probably there's degenative joint disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Probably there is degenative joint disease (or arthritis) that causes your symptoms.

According to symptoms localization there might be involvement of your arm and leg joints as well as your vertebral column joints.

So I suggest you to consult your primary care Doctor and discuss your concerns and tests needed in order to achieve a correct diagnosis of your concerns.

In mean time you can use NSAID drugs (Ibuprofen, if you aren't alergic and there is no previous contraindication) to improve your symptoms.

In my opinion there is need for x-Rays films of your cervical column, left wrist and knee joints as a first step.

Further tests needed are vertebral column imaging ( MRI), nerve conduction study ( EMG) and blood work tests for arthritis.

Treatment depends in correct diagnosis and consists on loosing weight, few days rest in painful phase, NSAID drugs and physical therapy.

You can talk with your Doctor about those problems too.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Thank you. Just one question. I think you are right on target. I too self diagnosed osteoarthritis. Can you tell me if arthritis is episodic? Does it flare up,with some days better than others or depending on activity?

Brief Answer:
Arthritis symptoms may change with time.

Detailed Answer:
hi and thanks for asking back.

Arthritis can be asymptomatic for a period of time, as disease progresses, symptoms come to evidence.

In early stages symptoms are intermittent, they appear after weather ( climate) changes, after prolonged physical activity or after fatigue due to longstanding, bad posture etc.

Early diagnosis and treatment prevent this condition being debilitating.

Hope this helps. Wishing you good health.
