What Causes Swelling In Face And Neck?

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Aug 2016
Question: My face, neck, are swollen. It doesn't hurt but it has my face so swollen i can barely see. I have ms & osteoarthritis. I wasn't on any new meds when this started about 4 weeks ago. I went to my pop and he did a ct scan on my chest and found a blood clot in my lung. Got meds for that but they forgot about my swelling face. And now I have a lump on my back. When you touch them there's nothing there. HELP

Brief Answer:
Could be due to the clot, allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

The swelling of the face could be due to allergic reaction to possible medication or it could also be due to lung clot.

It would be helpful if you could upload the CT Scan for my review.

The lump can be subjected to Ultrasound scan to get a fair idea of the diagnosis.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
