Brief Answer:
Need more information.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

I have gone through the query and understood your concern.

After injection the temperature of the injected material (here ice) changes to body temperature.

But I would like to ask some more information form you

1. How you managed to inject ice and what is the amount of ice injected?
2. For what reason you injected ice?
3. Is there any color change (like blue or black) or swelling at the injection site?
4. Is there pain during or after the ice injection?

Kindly get back to me with this information.

Regards,

By ice i mean crystal meth, i injected 0.15g mixed with 0.7ml of clean filtered water using a 3ml syringe with .5 tip. No red marks, bruses or swelling

Brief Answer:
This does not seem to be nerve damage.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply and clarification regarding injection.

If you have not developed any bruise or swelling or redness over the injection site and blood drew back before and after taking meth injection then there is least chances of having missed veins means it has gone into vein and not damaged the nerve.

Possibly the lining of the vein could have breached during the injection and for that reason you are having the numbness and tingling sensations of the fore-arm.

Keep your arm elevated above the level of the heart and apply hot compress on the area.

Also avoid injecting in the same arm in future for some times.

Please do not worry. This does not seem to be nerve damage and you will be fine within 24 to 48 hours.

In case, symptoms do not subside even after 3 days or may get worsened then it would be advisable to see local physician on urgent basis for complete examination.

Please let me know if you have any more question.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra
