Question : I have been experiencing tingling sensations in my ankles and arms. It first started in my ankles and now in my arms. It occurs when I am at rest and doesn't seem to bother me when I am "up and about." It doesn't last very long and happens randomly.

Brief Answer:
Need to be evaluated

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
I would like to know few more information like
Since when you are facing this problem?
Is there any history of diabetes or hypertension? Anaemia?
Is there any associated edema of the feet?
Do you smoke?
Do you take alcohol? If so how often?

In the absence of any medical history, first we have to rule out the above mentioned condition by doing relevant investigation ( like random blood sugar for DM, hb estimation for anaemia, Blood pressure need to be checked).

It is better to rule out this condition and then decide on the management plan. So it is better to visit physician for examination and investigation. Meanwhile you can take multivitamin tablet like (Capsule becosules) once daily for 15 days. You can ask local drug store for this, they might have different brand.

Hope this helps
Take care

After submitting my data I thought about the side effects of cipro which I am taking for a prostate infection. The side effects listed seem to show a direct relation to the tingling I have to the drug. I plan to visit with the doctor who gave me the perscription tomorrow. I have stopped taking the drug as instructed on the information sheet provided. Thanks for your input.
