
What Causes Tiny Red Bumps Around The Groin?

Question : I XXXXXXX a lot and I sometimes break out in tiny red bumps...they look like follicitious around the groin a ND legs. Is this worrisome? They itch but disappear in hours to a day.

What you are experiencing with these red bumps is most likely a sensitivity to the ultraviolet light. This can sometimes cause the formation of a rash which may only last a few hours. You should make it a point to use sunscreen before going into the sun.
It's also possible that you may be sensitive to the topical lotion used at the tanning salon. You might try a different brand to see if this also helps.
This does not sound like an infection. if you would like to share a picture of the area or skin changes that you have described I would be happy to look at that as well.

Honestly, its too faint to show up in a picture, its stinging and burning. I think I burnt myself. it happens when I sweat and XXXXXXX its not anything serious though?
