What Causes Tiredness, Weakness And Coughing After Having Candesartan?

Question : I have been taking Candesartin Cilexetil 32 mgs along with 1/2 tab of Chlorthalidone (25mg) daily for 3 months now...I feel tired, no energy, coughing, leg cramps & right knee pain with minor swelling.
In general...feel like crap.
Can I split this Candesartin pill in half (reducing dose to 16mgs)?
BP 130/79
HR 74 bpm
Also experiencing shortness of breath with little activity

Rule out angina/heart failure through echo/stress test

Hi,

Shortness of breath with little activity is suggestive for angina and/or heart failure. I highly advise to run further tests to rule out angina/heart failure first:
- Echocardiogram
- stress test

After ruling them out, you can safely reduce the dosage.
