Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Slight bleeding during or after intercourse is not normal and it has to be taken seriously.
There are many causes of slight bleeding after sexual intercourse and the commonest are:-
- Cervical dysplasia.
- Vaginitis.
- Cervicitis.
- Cervical polyp.
- Endometritis.
You will need to get examined by a Gynaecologist to find the cause.
She will do your internal examination.
She may also advise you investigations like
- Pap smear.
- Ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis.
Please consult your Gynaecologist for further evaluation and management.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
