Question : Good day, My wife is in 1st trimester (in 10th week). She used to have moning sickness vomittings. One of the known doctor has recommended a pill - DOXINATE OD for controlling morning vomittings. It is prescribed to take a pill every morning in empty stomatch. Is it fine to take that pill? Any side affects on baby and my wife? This week she has started taking that pill, how long she can continue it? Your response would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Doxinate is safe in pregnancy and can be taken for weeks.
Usually pregnancy associated vomiting is more during first and third trimester but stops in second trimester.
There is no side effects but mild drowsiness can occur during early phase of starting medication.
