Hi,
Have noted your details.

As per your history you are throwing bile and have upper abdominal pain.
Vomiting bile with upper quadrant pain can be caused by a number of problems. However the mosT likely among them as per your case scenario is-
Gastroenteritis
This disease is caused by a viral infection from the consumption of contaminated food or water. When having gastroenteritis, some symptoms such as abdominal cramps Associated with vomiting is there. As you said you were on amoxicillin and are now shifted to ciproflox,Its very likely that you are having gastroentritis. However it can be Gastritis also, Gastritis or inflammation or infection of stomach linings may also present with these symptoms. However baseline investigations including liver function tests, and amylase along with complete blood count to look for white cell count.Abdominal source of infection must be ruled out. An ultrasound abdomen and if needed a CT abdomen maybe needed and if no apparent sign of bile tract infection is noted, an upper GI endoscopy may be needed.

Consult your gastroentrologit discuss the above mentioned details with him.Antiemetic like promethazine and antibiotics for bacterial gastroenteritis may be taken to stop vomiting.A course of probiotic therapy is also adviced to restore the deplenished flora.Metronidazole should also be added to the regimen.

Though there can be a number of othE r causes also yet they are the most important in your case as per your history. You should consult your gastroenterologist and discuss the above mentioned things with him.
