Possible Osteoporosis of vertebral Column.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
I understand your query and concern.
Lower back weakness seem to be related to abnormal osteoporosis of the vertebral column bones.
This is due to age related changes of the bone mineralization .
In order to quantify this defect,Bone Mineral Density/BMD scans are usually advised.
Strength is improved through administration of drugs like Bisphosphonates and Calcium plus Vit D supplementation.
