Question: I have been prescribed celexa 10 mg for about a week 1/2 now. Am having feeling of no emtion which is really bothering me. How long til this passes

Hello, and thanks for your question.

I am guessing that if you were prescribed Celexa, this is either to treat depression or anxiety. Feeling no emotions would actually be consistent with depression, which Celexa is intended to treat. I do not think Celexa itself would cause a loss of emotion, as this is not a side effect associated with this medication. In any event, I would expect this sensation to stop by about 2-4 weeks after starting the medication. So I would expect this to stop soon for you.
