Question : I'm 44 years old. almost all of December 2015 uptill XXXXXXX 16 I experienced continuous bleeding in period. I started taking Pause 500mg to keep the flow under control. After almost two months I decided to start taking Premolut-N. From XXXXXXX 16 till today I've been taking 2 tablets a day to stop the bleeding. Yesterday Feb 11, when I stopped the medicine again, I'm experiencing extremely heavy flow which is clotty.
I've self medicated this time as I had experienced the same around 2014 May as well. The doctor prescribed Pause first and then Premolut-N. I used the latter for about four months and when I stopped, I experienced a normal period cycle (25 days with about 3-4 days of bleeding). I'm uploading my diagnostic reports from May 2015.
What you recommend I do as I'm going to be travelling for work very often.

Brief Answer:
Endometrial biopsy advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your health concerns and anxiety about it.
In my opinion donot use primolut and rather take pause MF three times a day.
And you should visit your gynaecologist and rather get endometrial biopsy done for evaluation of the repeated episodes of bleeding.
In case you have any questions then please feel free to ask.
Regards
Dr Manisha

Pause is not helping, I was continuously bleeding for two months. I'm going to be traveling for the next 20 days. I want to continue primolut. can you suggest if I can take for another three weeks and then get the biopsy? what are the side effects of primolut?
Brief Answer:
Can take it
Detailed Answer:
Yes dear you can do it this way.
Take primolut as before and on leaving that you will get periods and then opt for biopsy.
Primolut has no much side effects but if taken then biopsy will not be conclusive so don't take primolut after next periods when you will plan biopsy.
Take care
