Question : I'm struggling with infertility, last time on semen analysis my sperm count was 13m/ml, with total motility 25%(Grade one Motility 15% & other forms 10%), after 3 months on mac q plus, latest semen analysis shows sperm count of 27m/ml, with total motility 15%(Grade one Motility 5% & other forms 10%). It shows increase in sperm count but reduction in motility. Please suggest. Would I able to be a Father?

Hi,

I understand your concerns about semen analysis.

Your semen analysis is fairly Ok.

Follow the advice I am writing below :

1) Wear loose pants and undergarments.

2) Stop smoking and alcohol if you have habits.

3) Lose weight if you are overweight.

4) Continue with medicines you are taking.

5) Go ahead with procedures like IUI (intrauterine insemination) which helps is pregnancy early.

6) You will father a child. Don't worry about it.
