                                            Question : Hi,
I have left upper side stomach pain, since couple of weeks.
1. Severe acidity - using Pan-D since 4 weeks
2. gastric problem
3. my stomach gets harder
4. I can't sleep left side on the bed, bcz of pain
Yesterday, on April 3rd I went to Gastroentrologist and she gave 1. NEXPRO 40MG & 2. ACOTRUST, asked me to take before breakfast & before dinner for 3 weeks. I know, It is too early to ask but due to pain, I am unable to walk, sleep and eat properly. Is there, any alternative to find why I am having stomach pain?
I am attaching Ultrasound reports for your perusal

                                    Brief Answer:
Pain due to gastritis
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern for your symptoms.
1) Left upper abdomen pain with symptoms of severe acidity are suggestive of severe gastritis.
2) You must continue medication prescribed by gastroenterologist.
3) Gastritis is a condition in which, there will be inflammation in inner wall of stomach due to irritation from spicy oily food or stomach acid.
4) Try to avoid pain killers as this might worsen the gastritis.
5) If you have persistent of symptoms even after 4 weeks of therapy then consider to undergo upper GI endoscopy to check extent, severity of gastritis.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any further doubts, I would be happy to help you.
Have a nice day!
