Question: Q: Hello, my 4months old daughter has had a lump on her head since she was born we noticed it at about 4weeks. We have taken her to the doctor and had an ultrasound the results read "hypo echoing focus in the cutaneous tissues, it's exact aetiology is uncertain. No sonography aggressive features and no underlying cranial vault defect" our doctor doesn't seems concerned thinks it's maybe a cyst. Should I get another opinion? It's moveable and doesn't seem to be getting bigger?

Brief Answer:
You can wait or get an opinion.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through the details provided. It seems to be a dermoid cyst or a lipoma. It is hard to comment without examining it clinically. You can get an opinion from a surgeon about what it could be. So long as it is not getting bigger it is not a cause for concern.
