Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

As you suffered from Stomach Flu,you might be suffering from symptoms like Watery, usually nonbloody diarrhea ,Abdominal cramps and pain,Nausea, vomiting or both,Occasional muscle aches or headache and Low-grade fever.

You're most likely to contract Stomach Flu(viral gastroenteritis-inflammation of stomach and intestinal tract due to viral infection)when you eat or drink contaminated food or water, or if you share utensils, towels or food with someone who's infected.

The treatment of viral gastroenteritis includes rest, analgesics and re-hydration.

Let your stomach settle. Stop eating solid foods for a few hours.Take small sips of water. You might also try drinking clear soda, clear broths or noncaffeinated sports drinks. Drink plenty of liquid every day, taking small, frequent sips.Gradually begin to eat bland, easy-to-digest foods, such as soda crackers, toast, gelatin, bananas, rice and chicken. Stop eating if your nausea returns.Avoid certain foods and substances until you feel better. These include dairy products, caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, and fatty or highly seasoned foods.Get plenty of rest. The illness and dehydration may have made you weak and tired.

Wash your hands thoroughly.Avoid raw food.

Vomiting and diarrhea are the body's way of getting rid of the virus, and even though these symptoms are distressing and uncomfortable, it is important to allow the body's natural defense mechanism to function. The exception to this rule occurs when someone cannot hold down fluids and is dehydrated; the use of an anti-diarrheal( like loperamide) and Anti-nausea and anti-vomiting medicine (like Domperidone )can help the body restore its fluid balance.

At present you may take medicines like Paracetamol(acetaminophen) -may be used to treat fever and muscle cramps and Probiotic-helps to restore intestinal flora.

For the treatment of sore throat and sinus infection, you may take medicines like Anti-histaminic like Cetrizine,Saline nasal spray,Nasal decongestant like Xylometazoline.Paracetamol will also help in case of head ache and mild throat pain.

Also do steam inhalation.Do warm Saline gargles.Avoid dust, smoke and other pollutants.

Hope this answers your question.I would be happy to answer in case of any follow-up questions.Get well soon.
