Question : Hello
I checked my thyroid on May
T3 and T4 were normal but,
TSH was 0.28
Then Endocrinologist Doctor made me check Free T3 and Free T4 along with Antibodies..Everything was absolutely Normal..So Doctor said I dont seem to have thyroid as its all normal. He said TSH is not reliable and maybe it was slightly low as I was stressed and checked it in the afternoon after eating a heavy meal.

He anyways asked to check just TSH after 2 months (early morning 7.30 am fasting)..and I checked TSH and it was 0.95 (normal) and I checked TSH again after 4 months and it was 1.54 (normal again)..But I didnt check T3 or T4 again as it was all normal(doctor just asked to check TSH)..
So now everything is fine and normal right? and no need to worry right?

Please note : I dont have any symptoms of thyroid disease.

Endocrinologist Doctor said if TSH value is normal when checked after 2 months then no need to see him again.

Brief Answer:
Correct

Detailed Answer:
You have been given correct advice by your endocrinologist.

TSH is generally very reliable as a thyroid test and along with a normal T3 and T4, it is extremely unlikely you have a thyroid problem.

I see you have had only TSH checked last couple times, but as long as findings on physical examination by your endocrinologist do not reveal the possibility of thyroid problems, the normal TSH laboratory result is highly suggestive a normal thyroid status.
