Question : I am a 61 year old female. My recent AST was 52 while the alt ws 32. is this serious?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Your ALT and AST levels are in normal range although upper limit of normal. So no worries. These values are not worrisome unless double or three fold normal. If you have any symptoms like yellowish discoloration or epigastric or pain in right hypochondrium talk to your doctor and let them have a look.
