                                    Brief Answer:
Testosterone is on the lower side, other investigations ok
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.
1. Your thyroid function is normal. Mo treatment needed
2. Your HDL cholesterol is on lower side, other wise cholesterol panel is normal.
3. Your testosterone is on the lower side. Make sure that it is done in morning 8 am in a good lab. If not repeat it. If testosterone is again low you have to do additional tests like LH, FSH and prolactin after consulting an endocrinologist.
Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you

                                    Dear Doctor,
Thank you for writing to me.
I had done these tests in the early morning, assuming to follow the standards of these tests with out food intake at DDRC SRL lab.
I would like to ask you, Does the condition of my low testosterone affect the restlessness and anxiety behaviour in me.
I have less facial hair, less deep voice and knees' pain. Two months age, doctor (orthopaedic) advised me to free from activities which demands sit up and sit down and there was the beginning of osteoporosis after seeing X ray of knee AP, PATELLA.
Does the condition of low testosterone cause less facial hair and knees' pain. As mentioned your replay, do I need to have additional test such as LH, FSH and prolactin. Do these test confirm any medical conditions that I am suffering or deficient. Your medical advice is appreciated

                                    Brief Answer:
Do additional tests
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
The only abnormality in your available which will address your symptoms of decreased facial hair and osteoporosis is low testosterone.
We usually say testosterone deficient when testosterone is less than 200 ng/dl and lower side when less than 300. So you have to do additional tests as I suggested. If all reports are suggestive of testosterone deficiency, you can take a trial of testosterone treatment to see improvement.
Regards
Dr Ajish TP
