Question : Hello Doc, my wife is during her first 10 weeks of pregnancy. She had been prescribed the attached medicines for a couple of weeks by a gynaec. Does she need to continue these medicines?
Brief Answer:
Vitamins are preferably taken.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern.
I have gone through the attached reports. As you have decided to go ahead with the pregnancy, I presume, she may take the vitamin medications prescribed. Doxinate has been prescribed for the nausea which she may take until needed.
Also, she needs adequate rest, good intake of fresh fruits and vegetables and adequate hydration.
Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.
regards,
Shanti.V.

Thank you. So until which month she can take the vitamins. And when should we next visit the gynaec.
Brief Answer:
Vitamins should be continued throughout.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
Vitamins should be continued throughout pregnancy and also later until lactation is completed.
Your next antenatal visit should be after another month if there are no complaints.
Hope this helps.
