Question : What does it mean when you test HSV 2 IgG 2.91
Brief Answer:
PLease, upload the result sheet!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
IgG titers to HSV 2 means you had had herpes type 2 before. What tell us is you have an active infection is IgM. If this were measured,, please report it to me. IgG does not say whether you have the infection now or whether you can transmit it to others. However, if you have no active sores, then it happened sometime in the past and you are not infectious now.
Please, what motivated testing and do you have any sores right now?
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks you for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
