What Does Green Color Vomiting When Diagnosed With Flu Indicate?

Question: My husband has had the flu for the last 3 days - diarrhea and a little vomiting. has had no food for that period of time, drinks little. vomit this AM and PM (only twice) is a dark green. what is the cause of the color? says stomach hurts alot. thx

Hi, welcome to HCM, The green color is due to bile. He is getting bilious vomiting due to indigestion.
If the nausea, diarrhea and vomiting are not improving, please see a doctor. But if he is slowly improving, give him OTP medication like liquid antacids and digestive enzymes till he gets better. You can continue immodium as and when needed.
