Brief Answer:
Nothing serious.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The mild bluish bruise under the navel can be due to a sudden jerk in the area or a muscle cramp also that you might not notice sometimes. Even pinching the skin hard in the area can cause such a bruise to appear.
Usually it is self limiting and will regress in a couple of days. You might notice change in its colour when it heals, from red to blue and finally pale to normal skin colour.
In case there is no pain or appearance of swelling in the area then there is no need to worry. Just wait for it to regress spontaneously.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
