What Does My CT Scan Test Report Of Abdomen And Pelvis Indicate?

Question: i had a ct of abdomen and pelvis on it it said nonspecific wall thickening of the first/second duoderium most likely due to underdistentions ..also it showed a umbilical hernia containing fatty omentum..a left ovarian cyst and 2 uterine fibroids..what does all of this mean??

Hello

Your findings suggests wall thickening of first and second part of duodenum.It may be a non specific finding and may be due to not fully distended stage.

There are also sign of hernia in umbilical area and content of hernia is omentum.

There is also a cyst in left ovary.Size is not mentioned in the report.

There are two fibroids in uterus.Size is not mentioned in the report.Fibroid is a benign tumour of the uterus.Its treatment depend upon many things like age,symptoms,family is completed or not etc.This need evaluation.

what would cause the thickening in the first/second duoderium?? Is it colon cancer?

Duodenal thickening may be due to chronic peptic ulcer,infection,inflammation etc.
It is generally a benign finding.It is not related to colon cancer.

could it be stomach cancer? I've been having bloating, abdominal pain, pelvic pain, diarrhea, constipation, and vitamin B12 anemia

Thickening is also not related to stomach cancer.Stomach ulcer shows different findings.
You may need supplementation for vitamin B12 deficiency.

Your symptoms may indicate irritable bowel syndrome(IBS),so it is important to exclude it.
