What Does My Abdominal CT Scan Report Indicate?

Question : I recently asked a question in regards to an abdominal CT scan done with contrast. It showed the Liver, pancreas, aorta looking ok, but it showed that the spleen had small (the largest 6mm) subtle non specific hypodense lesions that may represent hemangiomas; however they could not exclude other mass lesions. I have also had pain in a spot at the bottom of my left breast for about a month now. it's in a specific spot that hurts more when I push on it. Could the breast pain be related to the spleen? or is it just a coincidence? Can breast cancer go directly to the spleen and not show up on anything else. I am on HRT patches after a full hysterectomy because of endometriosis 6 years ago. I'm thinking it's time to reduce my estrogen. How worried should I be? I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist soon. I had a mammogram in January and it looked good.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Hypo-dense area on spleen is a non-specific sign and unlikely represents a mass. Chances of malignancy are considered if there is a primary tumor somewhere else in the body. Breast cancer usually does not specifically spread to spleen only. The most common places it can spread to are; lymph nodes, liver, lungs, bones, and brain. Secondly, in case of CA breast, you will find some other symptoms as well related to breast like:
- Skin irritation or dimpling, breast or nipple pain, nipple retraction (turning inward), redness, scaliness, or thickening of the nipple or breast skin &/or nipple discharge (other than breast milk).

So if there is no other symptom at the present then there is quite possibility that the hypo-dense area is unlikely to be suggestive of a malignancy.

I've realized it actually seems to be on about a third of the left breast on the left side, other than that I see no other symptoms so your answer would still be the same? I have had stomach problems also but I had a colonoscopy in 2015 so it would not have come from there either? Is it possible it's from stress? Thank you for your help

Yes still chances remain for a benign condition and you can relax and continue with your normal daily routine. Stress will unlikely to cause formation of that hypo-dense area.
