Brief Answer:
Your husband's FBS and PPBS levels are high and in favor of Diabetes.

Detailed Answer:
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

I am sorry to say that Your husband FBS and PPBS levels are high and he will have to start treatment for Diabetes .

No need to worry because diabetes is completely controllable disease.
Your husband should strictly follow a doctor and regularly take prescribed medicine.

Your doctor may advice second blood test HB1AC or start medicine .
This HB1AC give a idea of last 3 month blood sugar level.

I would suggest my patient to follow these steps-
1)     Regularly walking and exercise for atleast 30 minutes .
2)     Strict diet control for diabetes .
3)     I would start Tab Metformin 500 mg twice a day and Tab Glimepiride with breakfast once a day.
4)     I would advice to repeat FBS and PPBS after 4 days.

Important thing to remember is that never decrease dose or leave medicine without your doctor's advice.

Have a nice day.

Hope this answers your question.

Please do not hesitate for any query.

I will be happy to answer your questions.
