Brief Answer:
Please consult diabetologist and follow treatment with lifestyle changes

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

Page 1 Your blood counts are normal

Page 2 Blood and urine sugar fasting and post prandial are significantly increased.

Page 3 Cholesterol level is normal

Page 4 Liver function test is showing enzymes at upper limit of normal

Page 5 Kidney function test and electrolyte is normal

Page 6 Urine test shows sugar

Page 7 PSA level is normal

Page 8 HbA1C is high

Thyroid function test shows mildly increased TSH and is not significant.

1. In the above findings, it is important to immediately start treatment under a diabetologist near you. We cannot suggest treatment online due to e health policy guidelines. However we can give you suggestions on the probable course of treatment and lifestyle changes to be included for control of diabetes.

2. The blood sugar can be slowly controlled and brought to slightly above normal. This requires blood sugar controlling medicines and diet restriction. You have to follow a diabetic diet form now.

3. The tiredness and weakness will improve and after 3 months of strict control you will feel much better. HbA1C is to be done after taking treatment for 3 months. Follow up with your doctor regularly is important.

4. Physical activity is important and it is suggested that you do walk and meditation for 30 minutes every day.

5. A sample meal for you might include the following

Early Morning

A cup of tea/ milk with 2 biscuits of your choice

Breakfast

2 parathas with curd or 2 plain rotis with paneer or 2 idlis with chutney/sambhar or 1 bowl of upma or oats

Mid morning

Soup or a whole fruit (apple or guava)

Lunch

Salad with rotis (2 to 3) or rice (1 bowl) with dal/ sambhar and a cup of vegetable. Occasionally you can add some light fries in lunch. You can add two vegetables every day.

Afternoon

Tea/ juice with 2 biscuits

Dinner

Same as in lunch with slight variation. Dinner should be lighter than lunch
Milk after dinner

Vitamin supplement can be started

Hope your query is answered.
