                                    Brief Answer:
Needs semen culture and sensitivity
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your semen analysis show very slow movement indicating asthenospermia. This is probably due to infection as there are 50 percent pus cells.
You need to give your semen for culture and sensitivity test to identify the organism causing infection and the antibiotics it is susceptible to.
It should be cured after antibiotics course.
Let me know if you have any more doubts.

Dr. Mahesh Koregol

In general is there anything that I should be worried about. Overall I am really worried if this might be result in some case of infertility. It would be helpful if you can provide some guidance over below questions.
1) Is the very slow motility associated with the infection? In other words should the infection be treated/cured help get normal motility ?
2) Is the infection the sole reason for the low motility ?
Thanks

Infection leading to low motility
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your seprmcount is excellent which is a good sign that other things can be improved.
1) Infection does lead to slow motility. Treating it generally cures it and normal motility is regained as your count is good, I expect a good recovery sooner.
2) Infection is not the sole cause of low motility in all men. There are many causes. But looking at your semen picture, infection appears to be main cause. First better to treeat infection and then proceed.

Thanks for your advice. I will follow up with my primary physician accordingly.
Just one situation which I forgot to mention above was, a week before I went for the semen collection, I had high fever due to Hyperthermia, heat rashes in my mouth, tongue and other parts of the body (went away after a week).
Could this situation have contributed to the results in anyway ?
