Question : Hi. I am 34 years old and my husband is 35 yrs. We have been married for a year and half and have been trying to conceive since 6 months. However during semen analysis, the following report was given:
Sperm count-34 millions/ml
total sperm count:102 millions/ejaculation
Motility-49%, progressive-44%, Non progressive-05%, Immotile-51%, Vitality-52%
Norml sperm-01%, head defect-92%, Neck defect-56%, tail defect-20%, CD effect-02%, sperm deformity index-1.68, pin head sperm-not significant, round cell-1 millions /ml, agglutination-negative, aggregation-negative, ROS activity-suspicious. He is advised to take maxoxa l and COQ forte and penegra half and hour before intercourse. kindly advise.

Hi,

I saw semen analysis report.

He has low semen morphology.

He is in right medications. Let him continue Maxoza but stop penegra. No use of penegra in this case.

Let him stop smoking and alcohol if he has the habit.

He does not need any other medicines as of now.

Let him repeat semen analysis after 3 months.

May i please know the severity of the low semen morphology?Please suggest diet also.

Hi,

Normal semen morphology should be atleast 4%. In your case it is only 1% which needs to be improved.

There are no specifications for diet.
