Question: Good day, I was d one that complained earlier about my body always shivering and I have typhoid fever but I'm currently taking Cefepime IV. I'm on the 11th day but the body is still shivering.
I decided to take thyroid function test yesterday and the result shows;

Pls check and advice me on what next do to or which drug to take.

Brief Answer:
Not to worry

Detailed Answer:
Good day.
Noted your concern.
Your thyroid functions are grossly normal. Please don't worry about that T3 value. When you are unwell, thyroid blood test values tend to be abnormal like this.In your case the T4 and TSH are normal. Not to worry. No need of any medicine now. I would advice you to recheck the thyroid function test after complete recovery from your fever.
Wish you speedy recovery

Binu
