Brief Answer: DETAILED BELOW Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health concern. Firstly, regarding the ultrasound report. To answer your question - No, it is not cancerous. The endometrium is the inner lining of the uterus. THat is measuring 12 mm or 1.2 cm, which is within normal limits , if you are in the middle of your menstrual cycle, or just pre menstrual. Also the lining of the uterus is uniform, except for a small , very small area that resembles a cyst. This area is only 5 mm, so really small. IT could be just part of generalized thickening of the lining, or a very small polyp. Please give me more details of your symptoms, the complaints because of which you underwent scanning, your age, menstrual history etc. That would help me to guide you better. Regarding the tests, could you please upload another photograph, as some details have been cut off in this current photo. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best. Take care.
