Brief Answer:
Treatment should be done if patient is fit

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

From this report it appears that he has got lung cancer. The stage is not very clear from CT report. The left upper lobe mass may or may not be spread from cancer. Outlook is different if it is involved or not. A whole body PET-CT should also be done in addition to the biopsies as already done.

If I consider the left upper lobe to be negative for cancer, even then it is stage III, but we can give radiotherapy plus chemo with a an expected survival of 2 years (provided nothing else seen on PET-CT). If that is positive then only chemo or oral targeted therapy possible with average survival of 1 year. It varies widely in between patients.

If nothing is done then survival around 6 months but may be even more. Complications like respiratory failure, bleeding, may happen with or without treatment.
Hope this helps. I will be available for followup.
Regards
