What Does The Following Test Result Mean?

Question: I had some tests done and not sure what the test results mean. This is what it says
HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec 17.60 High index 0.00 - <0.91
negative <0.91
Equivocal 0.91 - 1.09
Also:
CBC with differential/Platelet
RBC 5.38 High x10E6/ul 3.77 - 5.28

I have read your reports.
The first test indicates that you have had a herpetic infection and the antibodies are still in present in the body.
The RBC count is marginally high. You need not worry about that. Just stay well hydrated.

With the herpetic infection does that mean I have herpes 2? What do you mean the antibodies are still in present in the body. Do I need to be taking some medication?

Is there a way to find out how long I have had the herpetic infection?
