Brief Answer:
Dietary management for reducing ketones

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for contacting HCM

As with any energy producing process there is waste associated with the burning of the fuel. Additionally, if the body generates higher than normal ratios of energy from the metabolizing of fats or fatty acids, there is a waste product that is produced. This waste product is known as ketone bodies and they may accumulate in the body. Generally, this formation of ketone bodies is due to the fact that the individual has a lack of carbohydrates or sugars in their diet

One of the primary ways to avoid ketones in the urine is to make sure that proper dietary practices are followed. It is also important to maintain a proper level of ingesting carbohydrates and minimizing the eating of fats

Another food substance that has been known to enhance the digestion of sugar by the cells in the body is cinnamon. This is especially true if the individual has been diagnosed with insulin producing issues. To counter the effects of ketones in the urine, it is recommended that 2 to 3 grams of cinnamon be consumed after the eating of a meal

There is no much relevance with regard to your decrease in weight and ketones, however suggest to check your blood sugar levels (FBS and PPBS) and let us know the values
