Question : my wife's USG OBSTETRICS REPORT SAYS THAT
PLACENTA POSTERIOR LOW LYING 33MM FROM OS AT PRESENT MATTURITY GR. 0..........
BPD=70MM FL=52MM HC = 271MM AC=219MM
AVERAGE GESTATION = 27 WEEKS 6 DAYS (+/-) 2WKS
ESTIMATED FETAL WEIGHT =1048GMS(+/-)10%
EDD = 14 / 01 / 2016 (+/-)10 DAYS

IS IT ADVISABLE FOR ME TO TRAVEL BY FLIGHT

Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
The overall USG report is normal , just that placenta is low lying but anything more than 25 m from the internal os is any ways safe and not likely to be placenta previa.
In view of that , it is safe to travel by flight at 28th week of gestation.
