Welcome to HCM. Thanks for posting the question.
Hypothyroidism persisting for more than 2 years is mostly permanent hypothyroidism. Thyroid hormone (eltroxin) treatment is only a replacement treatment.
Once on treatment the target TSH is between 0.5 and 3.5. Your TSH is well within this target. So you just need to continue the same dose of eltroxin.
You can repeat the thyroid function after 3-6 months.
